Ne Zha 2 is the follow-up to the super popular animated movie Ne Zha from 2019. It picks up the story of Ne Zha and Ao Bing, who are kinda frenemies-turned-allies from Chinese mythology. After a wild event involving celestial lightning (sounds intense, right?), their master, Taiyi, brings them back to life using the Sacred Lotus. But, of course, things don’t stay peaceful for long—new adventures and challenges are waiting for them.

The movie is a mix of stunning animation, big action scenes, and some heartwarming moments about family and finding yourself. Oh, and if you’re into mythology and epic tales, you’ll probably love this one. It’s already making waves as one of the top animated films ever.
